There's not too much utility in trying to think about how those 8th place Arsenal teams would look in today's league (it's basically a thought experiment), but I feel relatively confident that the 2019-20 Arsenal team would be bottom-half in this league. They were only 4 points off being bottom half that year, and the midtable is a lot stronger now than it was then.
