Amorim was very clear when he came in that it’ll very likely get worse before it gets better since it’s hard to implement a new system in the middle of a season without proper time for training.
And I’m all for it. What’s the point of playing 4-2-3-1 scraping a 4th-6th place finish(at the absolute best case scenario) and the learning a brand new system in 5 months? I mean obviously it sucks right now, but this is also great for weeding out who Amorim doesn’t want.

I could see hints of it today in how they were pressing without the ball. In the past it’s always been very random and pressing seemed to be just a random player deciding spur of the moment he was going to try it. I saw several times today where they seemed to move together when pressing and other players would be proactively covering potential out balls or passes instead of just standing there.

Still a very long way to go, but I could at least see hints. No idea how it’ll actually play out long term though.

Yeah no clue if it works out or not but I respect that he has a system as opposed to whatever ETH was doing. But it's also clear some of these guys just don't fit this type of system and replacing them is a necessity. The biggest issues though are a complete lack of wing backs though. Don't think it'll look okay until some wing backs that are actually capable of playing the system.
