same ol' Caps
Newcastle more than happy to hit folks on the counter. Like good effort by United, but with Isak and Gordon, it’s kind of the goal.
We might have it won by April. Liverpool's consistent but none of these other teams are remotely capable of being consistent. It’s kinda been that way (though so much damn runway…) these other clubs are flawed. I would have said Arsenal would still be there but no Saka is gonna be interesting
Not to mention City will make a run but might still have CL though a playoff. They’re likely also too far.We might have it won by April. Liverpool's consistent but none of these other teams are remotely capable of being consistent.
I’m quite happy to be horribly wrong by saying Chelsea could have been close or if not ahead. This is grim, man. Clown show.
Before the second goal, Chelsea should’ve been up like 5-1, and the penalty was a bullshit penalty.I’m quite happy to be horribly wrong by saying Chelsea could have been close or if not ahead.
I don’t think I saw him say he would switch. I saw him saying he was going to need more time, maybe more time than the contract he was given. When Amorim joined MU, he said he would start with his usual 3 men backline because that’s what he’s comfortable with and would change if it wasn’t conclusive
And he is still playing with 3 defenders despite piss poor results
Now, he might be forced to keep using this formation because of other factors (injuries etc) so I may be wrong, maybe United fans can clue me in on this
It’s been kinda weird luck. The Everton draw, anyone could see. Those conditions, that side. Dyche special that. Before the second goal, Chelsea should’ve been up like 5-1, and the penalty was a bullshit penalty.
We’ve been rancid since the second goal.
Ah ok okI don’t think I saw him say he would switch. I saw him saying he was going to need more time, maybe more time than the contract he was given.
INEOS knew that when they hired him. If they don’t play it long term, they really are the frauds I think they are. Glazers don’t care. Just cashing a check and looting all the way to the end.
I mean, maybe he did? The one bit I did like about him is he did have a plan of what to do. You can see what Amorim wants and what his system is. Will it work was the question. Jury still out and likely will be for another window or threeAh ok ok
They should have sacked the bald fraud in the summer but it's really difficult to bring in as many players as they need to bring in. A lot of the players they'll get rid of don't have much value. Don't really know what they'll do.Maybe United shouldn't have been so quick to get rid of the Dutchman. The big one, not the bald one.

I'll admit that in hindsight, I wonder if having Ruud as caretaker until the end of the season and bringing Amorim after the season might have been the better option but as I said, it's easier to plan for the summer transfer window now that Amorim know who he wants to keep and who he wants to get rid off. I can see the latter being a difficult process either way with sales needed for purchases of any potential more expensive players (which are not INEOS/Berrada MO though). They should have sacked the bald fraud in the summer but it's really difficult to bring in as many players as they need to bring in. It's really not Amorim's fault but he might get a lot of blame for it. We got lucky before we hired Klopp because we had a couple good transfer windows and just didn't have a coach to use the players. That is absolutely NOT the case here. I'd hate to be stuck with doing something as difficult as this will be. They need starting XI players as good as Isak and those guys cost way too much money to buy them.I won't admit that in hindsight, I wonder if having Ruud as caretaker until the end of the season and bringing Amorim after the season might have been the better option but as I said, it's easier to plan for the summer transfer window now that Amorim know who he wants to keep and who he wants to get rid off. They also got a manager in Klopp who was willing to let the off field team get players and made them better. It helped that they found ways to move players who were surplus for money. Selling players who wanted to go and getting players who fit also worked. It's really not Amorim's fault but he might get a lot of blame for it.
