Yup. He also had an assist. He was everywhere tonight - for an 18 year old, he plays a terrific 200 foot game.no credit for the shootout winner by celebrini but it was noice.
Lmao he has more even strength assists than both Michkov and Celebrini. Him being a better power play producer on top of that is not a negative. Mental gymnastics at their finest. And you flopped on your face with them![]()
Here it is. Nice to see the hands, this is by my count his second goal of the year 1:1 with goalie (breakaway, SO, or all alone in front). Probably his single biggest area of improvement but there's evidence he's got the finishing talent.no credit for the shootout winner by celebrini but it was noice.
That isn’t a given at all lmao. The forward should have more assists, points, and goals the vast majority of the time. Defenseman should have a larger percentage of their production as assists, but that isn’t what we were talking about. Hutson has more even strength assists than both, in absolute terms. That is exceptional. He's great and everything but this is a weird selection of words. With 5 goals scored of course he has more assists, while other kids have 22 and 21 goals. It's natural for a defenseman to have more assists than forwards.
You may want to check how Hutson has performed relative to the rest of that d corps in those games lmao. He's been the best Hab in each of those 4 games.Hutson is also on a much better team - a team that doesn't seem to want to play defense even when they are on the verge of a playoff spot.Praising a D-Man on a team that's given up 20 goals in the last 4 games (all losses) while trying to make the post season seems "off" to me but we ALL have our biases - myself included.
Celebrini is an 18 year old on the worst team in the NHL. He plays a terrific 200 foot game. He is close to PPG.
Celebrini would have my vote.
When you give up 20 goals in 4 games (all losses), while on the verge of making the playoffs, that's NOT saying much. He's been the best Hab in each of those 4 games.
You're embarrassing yourself. Hutson has been on the ice for 2 goals against in that period, one of which being in 3-on-3.If you give up 20 goals in 4 games while trying to make the playoffs, that's NOT saying much.
What a relief for MM torts is finally gone. He had a rough start in his first year with his coach for sure.Michkov was fantastic tonight
Hutson was really good too though.
It's basically 4 guys putting up regular calder winning seasons at the same time
Wolf Celebrini Hutson Michkov all of these kids are already way too good at their respective positions , I say share the trophy between all 4 of them and let's all have a kumbaya celebrating hockey , these guys are filthy
Is it Hutson or is it the team?Hutson is on a much better team - a team that doesn't seem to want to play defense even when they are on the verge of a playoff spot.Praising a D-Man on a team that's given up 20 goals in the last 4 games (all losses) while trying to make the post season seems "off" to me but we ALL have our biases - myself included.

The Habs are a free for all out there. They don't play D. To say that a D-Man on a team that can't / won't play D (even when the playoffs are on the line) should win the Calder, is silly. You're embarrassing yourself. Hutson has been on the ice for 2 goals against in that period, one of which being in 3-on-3.
Yeah, it's like have 4 Calder winners in one year. This is really cool!Michkov was fantastic tonight
Hutson was really good too though.

I fear you may be either intellectually disabled or trolling, because Hutson has been point per game and excellent at both ends of the rink since the 4 nations (aka throughout this playoff push). The Habs are a free for all out there. They don't play D. To say that a D-Man on a team that can't / won't play D, even when the playoffs on the line, should win the Calder is silly.
He is hardly excellent defensively. LOL.I fear you may be either intellectually disabled or trolling, because Hutson has been point per game and excellent at both ends of the rink since the 4 nations (aka throughout this playoff push).
It’s not crazy to think he would have 15 more points without the prison that is Torts. Celebrini will most likely win the Calder. Awesome rookie class in general it’s one of the best in recent memoryWhat a relief for MM torts is finally gone. He had a rough start in his first year with his coach for sure.

Celebrini would have my vote.
Let’s not kid ourselves; there is absolutely no logic involved in that guy’s takes lol.His team has given 20 goals in the last 4 games yet he's a +4 lmfao such ridiculously stupid logic.
He's definitely not excellent defensively, but he's been passable in his own zone for a while now. He had a rough first 5-6 weeks learning what he could get away with, but his underlying numbers are actually quite good since then. He's still a limited player in obvious ways, but he's done a really good job adjusting. And his offensive game more than makes up for any deficiencies in his defensive play.He is hardly excellent defensively. LOL.
Anyway, we all see what we want to see - myself included. I feel Celebrini should win. I hope he does.

He leads all Habs dmen in 5v5 goal differential this year (+6) and is 3rd on the team in scoring. Hard to argue he's not a big reason for their success this year.
Celebrini is awesome BTW. What a gem. I severely underrated how good his skating would translate.
You’re silly. Always have been. Chat again in JuneThe Habs are a free for all out there. They don't play D. To say that a D-Man on a team that can't / won't play D (even when the playoffs are on the line) should win the Calder, is silly.
want a shovel to dig deeper? He is hardly excellent defensively. LOL.

Celebrini [....] He plays a terrific 200 foot game.
