Wolf gaining some momentum. If he gets the clear starting job (which it looks like he is) he can win it.
He basically is now, he's now played 5 more games than Vladar after splitting time early and then missing a couple starts to illness in the first week of December... since the Xmas break, he's started 7/10 games.

Michkov was the second star tonight in the ESPN Boxscore and Wolf had a great game and the Habs didn't have a good night and this was one of their down games after a very nice streak.
They play the NYR tomorrow and it will be interesting to see how they and hutson bounce back.

the guy is super talented but was getting burned all night. Also noticed he can get running around alot in the defensive zone as well, losing coverage. Already one of the top PP QB's in the league but has a ways to go on the other end of the puck.
yup. He did not have a good game tonight. took a penalty or 2 by getting beat and got caught on a rush which resulted in the 3-1 goal. In fairness though that rush created a scoring chance where Dvorak hit the post, and the 3-1 goal wasn't a great one past Monty.
