At least Garth Snow didn’t sign Shane Prince for 7 years
Snow was in a love affair with Alan Quine.

Lane Lambert thought it was more important to keep Sebastian Aho around last year. This is what set Bolduc back.A little surprised they waived Bolduc
He didn’t but he did sign Andrew Ladd to a 7 year deal.

Aho was waived by Pittsburgh he might be coming right back lololSnow was in a love affair with Alan Quine.

Bolduc looked improved but Cho was the better option. Bolduc still shows panic in his game that needs to change. Surprised Wahlstrom still not waived. Don't get the love, its almost like MDC, wait he will come around and never doesTough for Bolduc really hope he goes through.
I’m surprised by the Engvall waiving. Not because it’s unwarranted but because it’s an admission by Lou that his long term contract was a mistake.Engvall’s contract will go down as one of the worst in Islanders history if he’s no longer with the big club. Was a bad signing then and even a worse signing now. Displeased with his timid play both Roy and Lamiorello may be sending a message to Engvall. Don’t care how much you make learn to sacrifice your body for the team or don’t play at all.
Come on now. Dipietro? Yashin? Ladd?Engvall’s contract will go down as one of the worst in Islanders history if he’s no longer with the big club.
Looks like they are seeing if Wally can reshape his game into a 3rd/4th line grinder type with some offense.Bolduc looked improved but Cho was the better option. That would involve him having some form of awareness out there. His awareness is about as good as the PK last year outside of the SHGs Holmstrom scored.Looks like they are seeing if Wally can reshape his game into a 3rd/4th line grinder type with some offense.

Engvall is still the same soft player he was before and since the deal was inked. In fact, one could argue that he exceeded his low bar of expectations in last season’s playoffs.
Wally was always a physical player. He didn’t shy away from contact.Looks like they are seeing if Wally can reshape his game into a 3rd/4th line grinder type with some offense.
The problem is he doesn’t have the defensive awareness and agility that someone like Clutterbuck had.Wally was always a physical player. He didn’t shy away from contact.
Sounds like Lamoriello viewed Engvall as the third cog of a second line (aka a top six player by definition) and was willing to live with him shying away from contact in that role.I’m surprised by the Engvall waiving.
