Post-Game Talk: End of the Shanascam? | Leafs Blown Out at Home Again

After the first goal, the crowd should have left the building. With a clear message, that they Come back when they score.

We all knew this was a first goal wins kind of game. At least first leafgoal, we might win. First Panthers goal, no chance in hell we win.

Probably would not change anything but why Holmberg on 2nd line. Next year give Nylander mcmann at least. And a faster C.
The line becomes to long otherwise. Need the ability to stay closer in speed.

I expect a whole different team next year.

Keeping Kadri means this current core wouldn't still be here. It would've changed few years ago. At least Kadri shows up.
Obviously keeping Kadri is better than losing him for nothing, but you cannot win with this core. Kadri or no Kadri you cannot win when your best players disappear.

Everyone collectively has given up on this core.

Good on Berube for calling a spade a spade after just one year.

His job is to not do that though. He didn't call out anyone, he just said he had no answers and was just frustrated. If he gave up, then he should be gone tomorrow.

Leaf Fans are still the salt of the earth.

Scarred badly, but they are great fans.

This team still has a lot of these players signed. We'll see what they do with some new forwards and prospects. Knies is a great player to stand behind, and he's quite young.

Next year should be ok.

man what entitlement... toxicity has begun if it hadn't already....

wtf did you guys do huh?

It's very possible that Matthews/Marner are so insanely delusional/arrogant that they genuinely believe they are like Mitch said "Gods" and can do no wrong.

Maybe they really view themselves as McDrai despite being closer to Clarke MacArthures come playoff time.

Remember when Keefe called them out and then apologized the next day? This is the end product

Marner really should have taken that trade.

went down 3-0 and then tried to play video game hockey the rest of the game (just trying for the stretch pass) which just reduced time left on the clock.

I do feel Tavares was really rocked in that game against Ottawa and was never the same. Not even the same player from what I saw. Probably post concussion issues.

He was powerful and dominant with the puck. He was barely noticeable after that
Florida are much faster and harder on the forecheck than Ottawa
