my guess is something changed this morning - i.e. someone told Dubas something and whatever Dubas thought he was going to talk about is no longer on the table. What else explains a 45 minute delay?

Well, “not starting on time” is kind of the team motto isn’t it?

These sort of things have always been more about optics than substance. Being able to project confidence and a cohesive plan to improve the team going forward. Having a 45 minute delay and the president suddenly not slated to speak today just make the team look a bit amateurish

This is pretty typical stuff guys. It's like it's your first time going through an end of year press thing. They are late for a wide variety of reasons, typically because management and players have a lot to do.

If you're getting upset waiting, I think you're due for a break. These interviews will not be anything new and your reaction will be the same in a few hours.

You know what was interesting? The Vegas Edmonton handshake line was nothing but pure hatred and contempt. Maybe aim for that in the future. If your opponent was a gracious winner in the line, you didn’t do enough.
