Rumor: End of an era with Boeser and Canucks. Boeser: "Honestly its unlikely at this point (to re-sign)". Where does he go and for how much?

Sorry I choose to live in reality, this keeps happening, with every management group, the only common denominator here is FA, but yah, sure, it's gotta be only management........
Pittsburgh fans warned Vancouver what Rutherford was like and how he operated. This is exactly what they warned about.

Continuing to blame FA is like the meme of putting a stick in your tire and falling over

Boston or Pittsburgh imo - or Minny if he wants to stay west
Maybe to Pitt if we trade Rakell. Get assets for Rakell, replace with Boeser for a little more money. Seems like a good way to trade cap for assets, and still compete in the Crosby era.

My prediction is he still ends up in Vancouver for the same or less than he was offered before.

Ill go MIN for too much money and it looks bad in 3 years.
the wild aren't interested. it's been made clear by wild beat writer. they are selling all out for Brock nelson and Nelson is expected to be a big signing

Why are you picking favourites ? They are both from Minnesota

Yikes. I like Brock fine but he turned down $7.5M from NYI, so $8+ for him incoming? Woof

Yah, they have that rep and they are to blame as well, but to think they aren't being heavily influenced by the guy that owns the team is laughably delusional, and when the same issues (again) keep popping up, well.......

No mention of LA as a landing spot? It’s been rumoured that they’ve coveted him for awhile now, and they have a big hole on PP, to where Laferriere and now Kuzmenko has been on PP1 all year, bumping Byfield to PP2.

So the rich get richer?

I said it in the Marner thread but I definitely think Brock and Mitch trade places.
If Marner doesn’t sign in TO, then he’s heading south of the border. Boeser is heading south of the border too. Maybe he takes less to go home?

Wtf exactly is the problem in VAN? Why do they always have these type of problems with their star players? It can’t be management either because this kind of shit goes back to the 90s (Messier, Bure, Linden, Ohlund) with them, if not further.

They’ve had problems lately with Boeser, TJ Miller, Elias Pettersson, Bo Horvat. In the 00s, they had problems with Naslund, Morrison, Luongo. In the 10s, they had problems with Hodgson, Schneider, Kessler, Ehrhoff.

What is it about the Canucks/Vancouver that has caused all this kind of shit with high-profile players?

ill take that, over being known as a soft management team that will give in to low ball offers and can be bullied into taking less than market value.

You take a 2nd round pick for Boeser you open yourself up to crappy offers in the future.

Stand firm, get what you want and feel you deserve, if you dont, move on and dont lose sleep over a missed a 2nd round pick which was reportedly the best offer for Boeser.
No picks is the lowest low ball offer you'll ever get, fyi.

Will probably take 7 yrs 8-8.5 mil per. is Detroit willing to sign that for Boeser?

I definitely think Minny is on the top of his preferred destinations. Can also see a team like Tampa or Fla
What cap room does Tampa and Florida have…

chicago should give him 7.5x7, they need good forwards to support bedard
Not too sure that’s enough for Boeser to play on a bad team. A good team is likely to offer him 7 x 7. Hawks might need to really overpay to attract a top UFA. 8.5 x 7
