toffoli is a great comp imo, i just think 8m for a player that relies on other is a dud contract in the makingI think Boeser has a chance to carve out a Toffolli career. He will be overpaid though. I also think a team needs to make sure they have a player that can feed Boeser to maximize his production. I feel Boeser has a couple of 30-40 goal season ahead of him but his skating and pace are getting worse imo.
He’s Mike Hoffman if his teammates loved him. Definitely a lot less lazy too. But in general I agree, he is not a guy I would commit major $ or term toSome team is going to give this guy a 7 year deal for 7-8m and probably regret more than half of it. He’s Mike Hoffman 2.0 with some mileage on him.
Some of the best deals are the ones you never make but letting him walk for nothing is pretty dumb.
First off, I don't believe that's the best they could have gotten for him, second, that literally makes no sense you would rather get nothing over a 2nd round pick.ill take that, over being known as a soft management team that will give in to low ball offers and can be bullied into taking less than market value.
You take a 2nd round pick for Boeser you open yourself up to crappy offers in the future.
Stand firm, get what you want and feel you deserve, if you dont, move on and dont lose sleep over a missed a 2nd round pick which was reportedly the best offer for Boeser.
Don’t need rw….need second centerIs Montréal a possibility?

I don't understand how anyone can believe losing a player for nothing is somehow better asset management even than getting a 2nd rounder, but here you are.ill take that, over being known as a soft management team that will give in to low ball offers and can be bullied into taking less than market value.

i think they end completelyI could see him Minnesota, don’t the Parise and Suter buyouts drop off dramatically this summer?
Could also have been a shady tactic by Allvin to pressure Boeser to sign for much less than he was asking. Allvin said something along the lines of "Nobody values him much according to the offers we got"...I don't understand how anyone can believe losing a player for nothing is somehow better asset management even than getting a 2nd rounder, but here you are.
Also no one should believe we were only offered a 2nd rounder, even with our GM making such claims to save face, our owner clearly blocked the deal, he is clearly the problem.
I don't expect the Flames to spend much on forwards, adding a top 4 defenseman will allow the team to play looser though, which will increase scoring back to middle of the pack I suspectCalgary is 30th in GF and has 20M in cap space. I bet they throw stupid money at him.

he's an asshole too, had to deal with him at work once, treated is assistant like crapDumbest owner in history
he is on Par with Pegula

Only Top 6 spot that is a serious concern for them going forward is 2nd line center. Is Montréal a possibility?
Also. He can't skate with the Habs lineup. Why?
If you have Caufield & Demidov on that RW, that would be a massive waste of cap space for him to push to highly rated youngster down the line up.
I mean he's the reason they are still selling tickets after a losing seasonTerrible asset management not to trade his ass at the deadline.
It was just for showguess we'll see if Columbus was actually interested in the player. Don't think he's a guy we need but wouldn't be totally shocked to see Waddell make an offer
