It’s becoming blatantly obvious that the refs have a different set of rules to call when it’s Kane getting mugged or hit from behind.

Switch the players throwing that hit and it a major.

No one is saying that, ideally you just want to save one more. You will win a lot of games with 2GA, 3 is a bit more dicey. I'd be perfectly happy if he was sporting a 0.904 right now which is just one extra save. We can hang with most teams with that sv%, when you are dipping into the 0.860-0.875 range, you put more pressure on the offense which will not always be clicking.

I think it's asking less of your goalie battle out a 0.900 sv% than it is to ask your offense to put up 4-5 goals a game. I'm not worried about Jack, I think it will turn out fine, but for his sake I would like to see him find a bit more of his game. He's not a guy you want feeling like he's letting his team down because then he gets in his own head.
