The Oilers look good but the Preds look terrible. Even the Leafs would be skating circles around them right now.
(Okay maybe not the Leafs )

Agreed, I think that was one of the issues last season was they kept putting the top guys out in the 3rd when the score had already been run up.Not to get ahead of ourselves, but games like this are where it would be nice to rest McDrai and get their minutes down.
This is where I am as well. I'm a huge Yamo fan, but he needs to pick it up or be replacedI've been a booster for a while, but Yamomoto is not looking good. He's bobbling pucks, missing timing on plays, and literally all he seems to do on that line is pass it to Drai. Which is fine, but you do need to do a little more to justify being there. JP on the other hand is playing with serious hustle and is disrupting breakouts nicely. Love to see it.
Oilers are winning!What a period!
10 goals in 10 games for McJesus. On pace for 82....not bad
He knows a thing or two about winning
Reigning MVP...dumb afSportsnet- "Auston Matthews is the best player in the NHL"
That was pure domination. Big boy boot on throat period for the Oilers. I credit more the Oil simply steamrolling Nashville with really a shock and awe period. Predators look bad because they are being dominated in every facet of the game. Best period of the year for Edmonton. The Oilers look good but the Preds look terrible. Even the Leafs would be skating circles around them right now.

He’s like Meadowlark Lemon, for all you oldsters. That Drai guy can pass the puck around.
Sweet Georgia Brown.
Preds look like a bunch of hicks.
Drai's passing is sharp tonight. Though, it's funny to see him rifle hyper accurate passes all over the ice, then first play of the powerplay, he whiffs on an easy 10 foot pass and misses the puck altogether
By comparison, Nurse is really fighting it tonight. I think he flubbed every pass he tried to make in the 2nd half of that period. Whipping 15 foot breakout passes while not under pressure miles behind the target. He almost completely neutralized the 2nd unit powerplay's 50 seconds almost all on his own.
People will be saying he's great because he's got an assist. How can you not pick up something with Drai and Kane owning?I've been a booster for a while, but Yamomoto is not looking good. He's bobbling pucks, missing timing on plays, and literally all he seems to do on that line is pass it to Drai. Which is fine, but you do need to do a little more to justify being there. Too much candy for splits eh..What a period!
