Not bad actually... I'd prefer a young F over Boqvist though

Given the value of potential top players on ELCs I doubt CBJ would want part of this.

There’s not a chance in hell Columbus would ever offer that.

But nice to think not bad for value :sarcasm:

Dunno, seems like it would be hard for Pettersson to take minutes away from a Selke nominee.:dunno:
I’ve never seen a few fans of a team more obsessed with such a bizarre argument to continually insert it into unrelated threads. Truly fascinating.

Vancouver is continuing to snowball downhill, what incentive does Elias have to stay with the franchise past 2024? How much confidence is there in Elias actually signing a long-term extension? What is he valued at right now and what might his value be if he ends up requesting a trade? What teams do you think would move multiple assets to get him? This is an elite 1C and he now has a 102 point season in the books, what would it take Vancouver fans?

-$7,350,000 until 2024
-will be RFA

Snowball downhill?? They just bought out OEL so that's a huge improvement right there bro

Wonder what Vancouver would want from Detroit.

He'd be a fit for them.
Pettersson and Hughes are untouchable

Danm , not sure what to think about that one , but im sure Van takes this
No way Vancouver takes that. That is some Benning caliber trade right there. Trade our best young players that are proven in NHL for a bunch of potentials. The only potential I consider trading for is Bedard

He would look good as a 3C for the Devils.
Yes play the center that had more points and better D than Jack Hughes on the 3rd line. If anything he would be the first line center for the devil's and bump Jack Hughes down lol

I mean, I said as much so not sure what your point is. CBJ would want no part of it.

this guys one of the most valuable players in the league.

no way in hell he gets traded
I'd consider Makar for him plius all things considered

If he signed longterm deal

Makar is going to cost too much to keep soon enough and .may want to go home to Calgary

McDavid and MacKinnon are the only 2 centers better

Arena District - Columbus
I would prefer Johnson, but I think that is to much from the jackets perspective
Johnson and Jiricek are the only untouchables we have. And a prospect like Sillinger/Mateychuk probably isn’t enough.

Swap Boqvist for Sillinger or Kent Johnson.
Lmao no. Also, those two aren’t close to being equal.

EP40 would be great on the Jackets, but we will not be trading Johnson/Jiricek, especially if 3OA was traded (it won’t).

Vancouver
#3, #34, Laine, Peeke/Boqvist/Ceulemans <-> Pettersson, #11 ???
Canucks easily say no
No - thank you. If you want the 3oa & 34oa then Laine is out
LOL the difference in value between Pettersson for #3 ovr + 34 + 1 of Peeke/Boqvist/Cuelemans is larger than the difference between #11 for Laine.

Pettersson is a top 5C in the NHL today, #3 has a good chance of being the #3 or 4 best C in their draft class. Almost no chance of being a top 5C in their career, maybe not even top 10C

If Laine is out your replacing the d-man with Jiricek and adding more still for Petey + #11
