Let me stop you there. That's not what I said or even close to implying.

i'm saying inevitably you're going to be trading Miller to appease Miller regardless of what happens to Petey.

"Miller needs a reset" happened, that could quickly become "Miller needs a change of scenery." We've seen that play out with emotional American stars playing in Canada before.

So... plan accordingly.
Geez, so many fans think players on the team are a thrilled to be here and never want to be or play closer to their home or family once they reach a certain level.
Just wait until all the Hughes stuff starts, there is so much more meat on that bone.

Players sign contracts to play not into servitude.

Miller's personal reset? There is a lot more "personal" than just Dhali's suggestion of mental, he was the first to start that rumor 3 minutes after the Canuck statement release.

Not to mention if Miller was moved and Petey continued to struggle, we'd be right back to a media shitstorm except this time it would be directed only at Petey. I don't envy Allvin right now.
The production out of Petey right now is easily replaced, Cozens could do that and hit more too.

You don't have to like everyone you work with, but you have to be professional and do your job.

Shit that's a policy I follow in my job, I think NHL players can find a way to subscribe to it too.

The year is 2026

And people will still be in here coping that an injury is still there

Well, we're not privy to enough information either way so?

I do find it interesting that some posters don't take Pettersson at his word with regards to his nagging knee injury. Fine. Yet, some of these same posters morphed his vocalized desire to win into a specific retool strategy. Believed and then disbelieved.

He has 26 pts in 32 gp for 11.6 million bucks. That’s horrendous. If things end badly this year, you can trust and believe Rutherford will look to move him

He looked more like himself without Miller in the Lineup.
Exactly. Which is likely why Petey gets moved if he can’t look like himself with miller. It’s unfortunate but it seems this situation I won’t rectify itself with both of them here. Petey ends up with 65-70 pts and a rd1 loss, Peter’s will be moved before July 1

They have to make a decision soon, before his NMC kicks in. I expect him or Miller to be dealt by trade deadline.
Miller has a NMC. Petey will be the one to go. It won’t be a deadline deal though. It’ll be a summer trade before July 1.
