Ive never seen you before in my life.

its like me trashing 100 prospects.

5 of them turn out out bad, and I will come out and take credit for warning people about said xxx prospect not turning out.
🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡
I hope you enjoyed your creative writing exercise. This is a hockey forum tho. Not my fault you never seen me before. You can do research and see that I haven’t trashed 100 prospects. I’m glad you admit he turned out bad.

I feel bad for the EP believers. I’ve been warning them about him for years on these boards and they just laughed. I wonder if they are still laughing? Because I am laughing my ass off.
You're just mad because you said Lundell is better than Pettersson which he isn't (lols)

Lundell has 5 more points in 6 more games than Pettersson at his all time lowest. Odds are Petey turns it around next season and blows your boy out ... Again.

by that principle , players falling off after signing contracts is due to personal issue or anything else and not fluke seasons.

That is some serious easy way to cope. Perhaps it's just the motivation isnt there or the lack of effort. Because it clearly never happened before.
Not a Vancouver fan, doesn't matter to me if EP plays well or not. Just saying it seems likely that there's something going on but you could be right that he just doesn't care as much now.

And George leafer is gonna remind us he was right if Quinn Hughes ever fails, but he will absolutely not admit he was wrong about him.

It’s not a flex at this point since everyone is better than Petey.

You think I’m mad that Anton Lundell is a Stanley Cup champion centerman + has more pts than Precious Petey on top of it?

LMFAO ARE U SURE ABOUT THAT

I think they should give him until next year.

His body is still there, I think it's either he doesn't get the chances or his mental health is recovering. But I think a coaching change may be needed for EP40.

So many people saying he is just having a down year like he wasn't awful for half of last season too. If you do the split from before he signed the contract and after... paints a clear picture. His play fell off almost to the day he signed it
Well then you may want to check your calendar. He injured his knee about a month prior to signing his contract. He went from top 5 in league scoring, to this, exactly when his knee injury kicked in.

If you're looking for things that "PaInT A cLeAr PiCtUrE" you should probably look at the event that actually coincides with his drop off.

If you actually watch him, he isn't dogging it like a guy that phoned it in after a deal. He's working hard out there, he's diving for pucks, laying out to block shots. He just can't physically get to the places on the ice like he used to. His lateral movement is shot, his acceleration is non-existant. He went from 90th percentile in speed to bottom 20. Edge data backs this up.

It's funner to predict a demise, I get it. But if you want to make some money, I'd bet on him returning to form after a summer of proper training.

If I didn't know any better, I'd say Pettersson is done with the Acquillinis and wants out.
All of us want that. This organization would be much better off with someone who could just write paychecks instead of playing fantasy hockey and pretend manager with a real hockey team

Whenever I see a #5 OA #1 centre fall of the edge like he has at 26, I’m less worried about the current situation than the long term. I find consistency, at any decent level, is the recipe for an extended career. I doubt very much he’ll be around at 34 putting up 80-90…
Damn those 5OA #1 centres. Why they gotta fall off the edge like that at 26?

People have to remember that pro athletes are human beings that deal with the same issues that regular people deal with as far as personal problems and mental health issues. You don't go from 100 pts to 50 without something serious going on whether it's an injury or something going on in his personal life.
I'd feel sorry for him, but then I remember that he has a guaranteed contract that pays him 92,8 million.

Regular people don't have that. We start sucking at our jobs, then it's just bye bye and off to find another job.

Actually, his play fell off a good 3-4 weeks before he signed it.

He said all along that he wasn't talking contract until summer. His play falls off a cliff and three weeks later he signs the contract. He knew something was up and he was jeopardizing his bank if he waited until summer to sign.

ftfy

People forget the Tkachuk CGY leaving was fresh in the minds of GMs. Allvin said they needed a commitment or he'd be dealt to protect the club.

Lmfao there it is.

First it was the stress of playing without a future contract last year. He gets his absurd extension, still sucks, and it becomes big meanie Miller's fault. Miller is traded, pissbaby somehow looks even worse, and now he needs a new coach?
