Does it matter, when the discussion is how wrong your takes were throughout year? How did losing to Kings, Nucks, Stars go for you? It's obvious your hate on for the Oilers is making your takes really dumb. Not sure where it stems from, are you mad the Oilers can't save the Rags from being the worst Franchise in the history of the NHL again? Are you hoping for McJesus to save you like Messier and friends?
Look down his posting history. Who he cheers for is even MORE hilarious :laugh::laugh:

I imagine the Oilers are basically giving McDavid an assistant gm job? you ask for his opinions and want to know what players he wants to play with. he said he's trying to win.

As a habs fan, when Price was in his prime and we we're a few pieces away, I had the impression that GMs didn't want to trade with us because of that.

If he sees an opportunity then. It's more complicated then just offering top dollars, if he actually wants a cup.

I don’t get it. Wouldn’t that just be the team that just went to Game 7 of the SCF?

People in this thread are saying stuff like “he’s not staying in Edmonton if they don’t win” and suggesting that he goes to teams that don’t even get to the conference finals.
No. It would be the team that won game 7.

If Toronto keeps getting better and is a contender that definitely intrigues him a bit I’m sure. His family is there and he grew up a fan. It’s a dream for many Toronto guys. Being on the team that wins it you’d be a legend in the city for the rest of your life
Drai is so much better than AM in the playoffs. Why would CM want to reduce his chances of winning by playing with the leagues biggest playoff chokers?

He’s better off doing what LeBron and KD did.

Honestly I think he’s too boring of a person to leave even if they finished 32nd every year.

Not if he gets injured. Hard to leave a guaranteed $112m on the table when your career could be over in minutes.
Huh? First of all he’s one of the most durable players in the League. Built like a tank. Second of all, even if he still has an injury, after recovery he would have still got a huge contract in free agency, IF he wanted to test the market.

It’s not an elephant in the room. He’s staying with the oilers. He wants to win and they are one of the best teams in the league.
True.

Honestly I think he’s too boring of a person to leave even if they finished 32nd every year.
Yes. Exciting vibrant personalities like Tavares and Stamkos. Those are the guys who leave.

Have to think he stays in Edmonton.
There'd have to be some meltdowns and behind the scenes stuff for him to pack up and leave.
