That's exactly what happened. Im guessing Goodrow and Vesey told the Devils at the faceoff that if Macdermid is going, theyre all going. Because Vesey and Goodrow had the gloves off before Rempe. Goody and Bahl also have a history of violence.

jersey moaning whining and bitching, then trading for some nobody solely to fight their rookie sure AF led to the Rangers backing up Rempe last night. And how good is that teambuilding right before the POs? Finish it off with a third period come from behind win and it's all good man. Whatever T there was in jersey before last night has dwindled to non-detectable levels with current equipment.

It's an 'we're all in it together' moment which is why I called it team bonding. Maybe the Devils players feel the same way but they'll be shortly on the golf courses and hopefully we'll be making a Stanley Cup run......that's a key difference.

Just looking at our penalty box afterwards.....this is K'Andre's first ever fight and he's got a big ass smile on his face. Not that I expect he's going to start looking for them but my guess now is it won't be his last one.

I liked what Goodrow did also. He took the biggest guy other than MacDermid.

He was bad last night but anyone “thankful” they have to play Luke Hughes for the foreseeable future is going to look silly real soon.

He may not be at Quinn’s level but he’s going to be an awesome player. And unfortunately that family has it in their DNA.

The Devils had 3 goals on 11 shots at one point. I get that the second goal was basically unstoppable, but Igor needs to make a save on one of the other goals. We had outplayed the Devils so handily at that point in the game. You just need your goalie to make a couple tough saves when needed.

I don't think it's any coincidence that we played better with Trouba and Goodrow in the press box (assuming they went there after the line brawl).

Panarin looked good outside of that bad turnover to Bratt. Laf has been on fire, and Trocheck is just a machine. That line just cooks every time they're out on the ice.

Mika looked like he was putting in effort, but still looks so lost. Roslovic is just a waste of space at this point. Kind of annoying that Duclair has 10P in 11GP and is a +5 since going to Tampa, while Roslovic has 7 in 14 and is even. Roslovic is what you get when you dump all your skill points into skating and nothing else.

Kakko is just a massive disappointment. Even games when he scores and has a couple good opportunities, he's still invisible the rest of the time. He just doesn't seem to have the motor to be an impact player, which is sad and frustrating. I think he has the hockey IQ to be a very good shutdown winger. But he just has such a plodding way about him. No fast-twitch, poor acceleration, poor top-end speed, and decent agility.

So dumb. Laviolette shouldn’t have played Green's game. Green puts out his lineup first. The Devils are dumb. They are mad at Rempe for a clean hit on Bastian. They were mad before the elbow on Siegenthaler. The Bastian hit was a clean hit. It's not Rempe's fault Bastian is a small player. The Devils have no one in their organization to challenge Rempe to a fight. Fitzgerald imports a guy from the Avalanche to fight Rempe for a clean hit. That's on the GM. He has built a soft little team. All of the national media loves this guy for some reason. He has a female AGM. What a progressive hockey mind. Fitzgerald is such a great GM. These people are clowns. When is Fitzgerald acquiring a goalie? I hope Conroy soaks Fitzgerald for Markstrom. The Devils are a soft team. The Rangers should be embarrassed they lost the playoff series last season.

The Rangers have bigger goals this spring. The Devils will be playing golf in two weeks.

Rempe can fight MacDermid during the game. Who cares if MacDermid respects Rempe? Who is MacDermid?

One thing I have to say about Rempe is that he took his opportunity and made the absolute most of it. He has interjected himself into the very fabric of our most heated rivalry and made himself a major part of it. You'll never look at Rangers/Devils again without thinking of his part in it. It's crazy to think of that he has played them three times and never finished a game. His stat line must look ridiculous. Good on the kid, he's picked a tough lane but he's owning it. He's going to wind up with an NHL career out of this.
