Well, the NHL stole our future immediately after it became abundantly clear that Chayka had left us no hope for the present. So, I’d say Arizona really has no choice but to sell off everything we can for futures. How does trading OEL for an all futures package sit with Arizona fans. I understand attendance can be an issue. Is OEL recognizable enough for there to be value in keeping him? Does a trade like that risk losing fans from an already small fan base?

sorry for my ignorance on this matter, what did the NHL do in this situation?Well, the NHL stole our future immediately after it became abundantly clear that Chayka had left us no hope for the present. So, I’d say Arizona really has no choice but to sell off everything we can for futures.
The NHL took our 2nd rounder this year (we don’t have a 1st or a 3rd) and our 1st next year (we don’t have a 3rd). The Chayka/NHL owners 1-2 punch combo has left us laying on the canvas and seeing the tweety birds.sorry for my ignorance on this matter, what did the NHL do in this situation?
Ah, sorry to hear, as a Vancouver fan I hate the NHL as a business entity with my entire being. Seems like your organization can't get a break. The NHL took our 2nd rounder this year (we don’t have a 1st or a 3rd) and our 1st next year (we don’t have a 3rd).
