The fine isn't going to hurt OEL, but pretty weak call there for one.

This isn't the worst thing he's screwed up on, but there's been a bunch of stuff that he punishes that no one agrees with.

Despite going to a prestigious school the guy is kinda dumb.

That's not a "reverse hit". Watch the clip and you'll see neither OEL nor Guentzel ever has the puck. And Guentzel isn't even coming in for a hit.

FWIW, this didn't receive a penalty, but it did get a $5000 fine.

Yep. That's a forearm/elbow with force to the jaw. Apparently heat shots only matter if its with a stick or bodycheck.

OEL's hit was much closer to a legal hit than this.

Why are people posting clips where one of the players actually touches the puck and pretending they're equivalent.

The equivalent play is the Matheson one I posted above, where neither player has the puck when the hit is thrown. And it resulted in a fine.

This isn't the league cracking down on reverse hits because it's not one.
