So does this sour negotiations with Zito in July?
Any leverage Ekblad may have had coming off a big decent offensive year may be tainted now.
Will be interesting to see what happens now.

Per his statement, this was boneheaded but not all that uncommon with elite level athletes. He clearly skirted the team doctors and medical staff to try and speed things up a bit. There's all kinds of substances top athletes take to try and push the envelope especially regarding recovery etc.

Unreal. Stupid. Cost himself $$$ and maybe cost us our playoffs.

Aaron Ekblad off juice and can't practice until April, he's gonna be 400 pounds!

Zito

At this point I'm starting to think we living in a simulation and Zito is the ONE constructing the most hated team there is.
Bill is literally creating the NWO CatPack hahaha

Was thinking the same thing. Just imagine the lamentation across the league if the Panthers win the Cup with these roided up scumbags.

Man. We really needed Jones to be building chemistry with Mikkola these last 20 games... he and Forsling are probably a good pair but this screws things up. Same with the Kuli-Schmidt pairing.

Does it make any sense to just bite the bullet and but Uvis up with Forsy to maintain the other 2 pairings while Ek's out? Or is that crazy

Put Jones with Forsling and give more minutes to Kuli-Nate.
