Comrie with another very good game. He is quietly having an excellent season for us and deserves more games, if only to give Hellebuyck more of a breath.
The rest of the team was inconsistent and flawed but came out with what I would call an overall more energetic game (not saying much?). That penalty call was trash and it would've been an absolute travesty if CBJ won that in OT.
It was nice to see the power play look lively again.

Thankfully, Ehlers ended the game and sent the Blue Jackets home.

Refs tried to gift the game to Columbus must have had the tie in Sports select
Wouldn't you know it, the CBJ broadcast coulnd't find a replay of the slash...
Aren't the same cameras available to both broadcasts?

Woohoo I guess! A win is always really satisfying but this flawed team leaves us wanting more. Bush league refereeing, smart OT coaching = OT win!!!

The stripes certainly had it out for Jmo tonight. It is unfortunate but the retaliation always gets called still such a gutless play by the Blue jacket and horrific call by that sorry excuse for a ref.
Another note ...no more Stanley! Give someone else a freaking chance!@

They also gave him that fantom penalty in the third for skating the puck out if his end. I guess someone talked to the ref to even it up as to not totally embarrass themselves.

It hasn't been credited yet, but Comrie will get an assist on that overtime goal.
Comrie should play more he's more then earned it and just gets us wins when he plays.

Where the hell did this version of Comrie come from, lol. Incredibly glad for him though, couldn't have happened to a more outstanding guy
I still don't understand why that goal doesn't count. The shot happens before the slash and no Jet touches the puck before it enters the net.
BS call on him last game or the game before as well.
I usually don't complain about the reffing because most fans complain about it with the homer attitude but this year is the worst reffing I have seen in my life.
Even the CBJ board admits it a bush call.
They sure hate PLD over there...hahahahahahahash.
As soon as the Jets touch the puck after the infraction the play is dead.
Sorry, misread. Did he slash him after Wheeler shot the puck?

Credit the New Jersey Devils' goalie coach.
Comrie credited him in making changes to his game even though Comrie was only there for about a month.
But the infraction occurred after wheeler has shot at the empty net so no Jet touches the puck before it goes in the net.
He's earned at least another one year deal for a slight bump.
Yup, he's more then earned himself another NHL contract from us and should get more of a workload next year.

Imagine if NJD kept him then, goaltending has sunk that team this season (not as bad as Grubauer in SEA, mind you)

Sports psychologist paying off big time. He was great at every level but always seemed to fall apart whenever he was given a chance to really prove himself. Hopefully he keeps it up!
