That’s not over the top? It’s very rare for American born players at his age who have spent their entire hockey life in America to sign for a Canadian team unless they have little to no options. He is from Colorado, I’d say him going there in the off season is very likely.
And I liked the player the last couple years, don’t like his current play and don’t like that he is injured with no return date.
I don’t like the idea of grabbing an injured struggling player and hoping that in a few regular season games he can flip his game around and be a good playoff add. That’s a very crazy risk. If he wasn’t injured right now I’d like it a ton more cause he would have time to work with the staff and get his game back on track. He won’t have that.
When he is healthy and playing well he is a good player in the paint, scores a lot crashing the net. Is big, tough, physical and will make you pay with solid hits.
I don’t hate the player, I hate his current play and the situation.
