man this was a concerning loss, the oilers defense shut down our offense and gave us very little. They got lucky offensively but they played a strong defensive game

Boys, I'm just going to say it... This team is going "nowhere" again this year. Not because they need further immediate tinkering with, or because they lack high end talent. Not because Freddy is prone to week goals and inopportune moments, or because the defense is still terrible...

It's because their consistancy in effort still isn't there. They can't duplicate the high end performances they have. Every team loses games, but the best ones don't have these stretches of uninspired play, especially against the bad teams on their schedule that amount to easy points and consistent playoff wins.
