Vesey is doing absolutely nothing on that line. He doesn't make plays, doesn't dig the puck out; doesn't shoot.... heck he deosn't even backcheck as hard like wtf is he doing in the top 6?

JT has to go dig the puck so he is getting frustrated and trying to do all on his own giving away pucks.

meanwhile Hyman is getting wasted on the 3rd line; even if that line gets the puck there is noone that will score

Hyman would be perfect to play with JT and Willy. I know most would like him back up on the 1st line. He would be perfect for JT, he's good down low and constantly just throws the puck out front. And JT is probably the most consistent player for being near the blue paint /slot area.

It's not being passive, it's called being lazy

Kovalev his entire career was mired by that. Nedved never seemed to take it to another level considering his talent level was up there with any superstar at the time
