Oilers barely beat the Canucks minus their starting goalie, their top winger, and with their franchise center having 1 goal in 13 games.

Fun series. But you're going to get smoked by Dallas, and you know it. Enjoy this while it lasts.

Their top goalie might have been out but Silovs was the Canucks best player, so it’s not much of an excuse. Nor is Boeser being out for one game…

Canucks fans should be thrilled with what they saw out of Silovs. The almost-won-with-an-AHL-goalie comments are so sad and disrespectful of his play this series.

Ya if he can keep this play up, the Canucks are going to have one hell of a tandem. He was phenomenal, and easily the Canucks MVP in the playoffs

Bro we got outplayed and failed to show up. Quit making excuses. We simply didn't want it as bad as they did.
To loosely paraphrase Tina Turner.....what's "want" got to do with it? If their low % shots don't go in and ours do, it's literally a different outcome.

It took the 2 biggest Canuck MVPs to be out for the Oilers to beat the Canucks in 7 in a one goal game. Safe to say if the actual Canucks roster showed up, theyd win easy

Bite my finger buddy… playoffs a different beast in case you don’t remember or weren’t around….

How do you have 5 shots beyond the halfway point of the match in a Game 7 on home ice with Owen Wilson in the crowd?

You're playing against the freakin' Oilers, that titanium asteroid worth 10,000 quadrillion dollars would've been able to score on this defence with Skinner in the net. Canucks should be ashamed, they let the worst team in this entire playoffs beat them and not even show up until 3 minutes left. Pathetic.

I thought the only part where Canucks were genuinely outplayed in the last two games was the two double-minors. Should never be getting outnumbered in the corners when you have the advantage of an entire person. That's where the adjustment should have been made

Yeah. Honestly coming into today knowing Boeser was out it felt like we needed a miracle.

I think part of the slow start tonight was having basically 2 lines, and relying on Mikheyev as apart of it to step up which was never going to happen.

Brutal timing but the effort wasn't even there tonight so.. credit to EDM.

Putting Mikheyev on the top line was a mistake, the guy simply can’t finish. I would have put Giuseppe there. He’s been good in the limited time he has seen this series.

Boeser out completely threw their lines off and Tocchet only had hours to re create the lines.

How did injuries kill you? You didn't have Demko but Silvos played as good as him.

Boeser, yes. That was one game of the series. The Oilers have been missing Henrique the whole time. He wasn't as good as Boeser but he had built himself up as McDavid's winger/ center. A very smart player
It's ok to acknowledge that the Canucks were missing it's superstar goalie and then it's top goalscorer in a shock announcement just before game 7. It is not the same as missing Adam Henrique lol.

Silovs played well and gave us more than we could ask for from our AHL goalie. Going as far to say he was Vezina calibre is just not factual though. He didn't steal any games, he didn't stand on his head really, he just looked a bit better than the guy at the other end.

To be fair to Oilers fans, Vanc was the 6th highest scoring team in the league and they had trouble scoring on Calvin Pickard and Skinner the final 4 games. And everyone knows Skinner is a shaky goalie, yet they only scored 3 goals on them the last two games. And one of them today was of a gift giveaway in front of the net.

Bouchard was better. But Hughes was also banged up good by the Preds double-teaming him every chance they got.

And it's only his second playoff run. He'll get more used to the absurd physical punishment that comes with the playoffs and improve from that.

But you're right, Bouchard was something else this series.
