Bit of a screen, but Cossa likely not happy about that one.

Cossa playing solid and scoring from some depth guys. Bring it home for the W boys.
I think you jinxed him. ;). Disaster of a third so far for him.

Cossa looked just like mike smith that game. over committed, flopped and then was slow to get back into position.

Tough loss. Stopped playing after the second and got dominated in the third. I expect a better effort for the star players tomorrow because most of them were pretty quiet tonight.

Well that sucks. Boys didn’t have their best game tonight. Gotta get the W tomorrow.

This may not be a popular opinion but I didn’t mind them losing tonight to X-Man’s team (especially since he scored). Would be different if the Oilers had prospects on the OKs

Even better would have been a 6-5 OKs win with 5 pts for Bourgault 😉

Yeah I would have been okay with that too. I still want the OK to win the memorial cup but tonight was the only loss I would have been okay with in the RR.

Stauffer was certain that Shawinigan would get peppered tonight but it wasn’t the case. OK big boys gotta show up. Guenther out could be it though, unfortunately. Hopefully not

This sounds like a lot of the posts I saw after we lost game one against the Flames. ;). I have confidence they’ll bounce back, they are a good team.
I’m talking in general
The Dub has 1 Cup in 15 years….That’s troubling to say the least
If any team that should do it it’s the Oil Kings though

OK's got dominated pretty good in the 3rd. Nice to see XB play well, we might have a keeper there. Really impressed with Williams on the Kings. Reminds me of his namesake that used to play in the NHL for the Kings and Carolina.

Game is in 20 minutes and as a big fan I hope the OKs can play better. It’s win or they’re done. That game 1 was horrible; I know we can play much better and we have to. This team was built to win it all and it will be a huge disappointment if the OKs don’t do so with all of the pieces they gave up for this opportunity.

Looking like a typical Oilers 1st game of a series kind of a game. 10-9 final incoming. ;)

I don’t watch much junior hockey anymore, this tournament and the world juniors is pretty much it. This is the first time I’ve seen this team play. They look like the Oilers just with worse defensemen and goaltending.

I quite like all three of the Oil Kings overage players; Williams, Souch and Kubicek. I wouldn’t mind seeing all three of them continue on in the organization be that on ELCs or AHL contracts. Could be a hidden gem in there but even if not would be nice depth for the Condors to make up for a few years of being short on draft picks now.
