It's pathetic how low his % is.

Maas should just start playing the backup for the rest of the year, atleast see what we have.

Call Kevin Glenn out of retirement.

I wouldn’t be surprised if his % was in the high 30’s.

Remember when we used to watch Labour Day games and you knew the Esks would lose, but at least it would be kind of exciting and you'd still think think there was a chance they'd win? I miss those days....

Maas doesn't have a clue.

Like I said before, him and Harris are the best combo for generating useless yardage and the worst combo for actually scoring when it counts.

Spotty and inconsistent playcalling by Maas combined with a QB who doesn’t have any particular physical or mental attribute to take over a game or overcome shoddy playcalling.

I wonder what Maas the QB would have thought of Maas the HC.

Well, I said last week that if Maas got swept by Calgary and then tossed around by Hamilton that Sunderland wouldn't have much choice but----well---nobody knows what really happens inside the igloo these days.

Meantime, pass the vodka boys.

The good news is that Brock will probably feel a little heat for a fourth straight underperforming year and I don’t think he has any particular loyalty to Maas.

Fixed.

I was actually fooled. I really thought this was a very good football team. Turns out they were the definition of a pretender.

8-10 is the most likely result of this season now, which is a massive fail. Being 6th best in a league with BC, Ottawa, and Toronto is basically the equivalent of being the worst.

I don’t think he can do anything this year. Too much of the offense and schemes are built entirely around Maas’ ideas. Firing him at this stage would probably lead to more dysfunction offensively.

Especially because our “offensive coordinator” seems like he’d be totally green and unprepared for being “the guy” actually designing the offense.

There are some true gamers that he has acquired. Unfortunately a lot of the pretenders are at fairly important positions on the team - RB, QB and HC.

24 offensive possessions the last two weeks and the only touchdown was the long bomb to Smith.

Sadly, I have to concur with your argument. Lets hope Ottawa doesn't go on a winning streak so we can sneak into the X-over spot.

I’m living in the past too. I bet the Eskimos today thinking (hoping) they’d be competitive enough to win. Not once, after the game started, did I think they had a chance to win.

Fire Maas tonight.
Trade Harris to Toronto before midnight, in return for Franklin.
Flush Gable outright.

I actually thought that when Jones scored on that (later called back) big return that there was a chance but of course, dream on.

Jones was outstanding today. Best Esk on the day.

Islands in the stream.
With each passing week I’m coming to the conclusion that Trevor Harris isn’t a long term solution for quarterback.

Remember me saying people will like Harris initially, but then he will settle into a type of mediocrity wherein we keep looking for the next one?

Harris seems to have considerable difficulty playing against good clubs. He's so up and down, and its been a career hallmark of his. You never know which Harris you are getting and even optimum Harris is about the total yds and not a lot else. What a pathetic offense. Saw that coming.

Absolutely nothing will happen until years end, not should it.

This team can still beat any team in the league if they play to their ability.

If they fold to the end of the season there will be changes but now is not the time. (imo)

This team can’t make a play without taking a penalty. I know some blame the officials at times and they are bad but we have serious discipline problems with our players through out the lineup and it always bites us at the worst times.

Yeah, I never bought into that ref conspiracy stuff. The officiating in the CFL has sucked for the last half century but it didn't bother past Eskimo teams.

There is no comparison between the EE coaching staff and the Stampeder coaching staff. Both teams were rested and had lots of time to prepare.

I started calling out Harris last week and got some pushback. Crazy how much difference one week makes on consensus building lol.

Anyway, it’s up to Bianca tonight to make this weekend not be a total disaster for me sports-wise.
