Taylor Hall isn't the skater he used to be.

If we are trading for a scoring forward, they need to be able to skate.

He can skate. He's just stupid.

Oilers let's a younger, cheaper, faster Hall walk for a 3rd round compensation. They wouldn't be adding another big ticket winger before a Dman, C or a goalie

Hall doesn't have the game-breaking speed anymore.
He's on a crap team and still has as many points as RNH does right now while playing for a Cup favorite. So he's not totally washed yet, still got some game in him.

I used to like Murphy but doesn’t he skate like a slug now? Plus he’s still made of glass. We need a RH D to pair with Nurse and get Kulak back to his proper side on a good 3rd pairing. I don’t think Murphy is that guy.
