Sharks jump on that and get it to the league office before Bowman blinks. I don't think they lose much even in the original proposal. Montreal would not do their deal and hopefully McDavid wouldn't agree to a deal that complete guts Habs of 90% of their depth. Edit" I thought both were McDavid. Absolutely no interest in Draisatl.
And I suspect McDavid would go to either team as long as the trade didn't gut them and he would limit destinations to ensure that,

Nothing the Habs are giving up approaches Michael Misa's value. It wouldn't matter if they weren't giving up that much or if the Habs gave up more. The Sharks still wouldn't do it and they'd be stupid to even entertain it. If McDavid wants to play with Celebrini, he can sign as a free agent or he can go chase the Cup elsewhere.
