Kind of deal Edmonton had to make to shore up the bottom end of their line up. However, I'm not sure Dickenson moves the needle that much for the Oilers in terms of winning the Cup. Get into the grind of the playoffs and I'm not sure how well Dickenson plays through that.

Yes, a guy that had 70 pts playing 22+ mins a night and trusted by Jon Cooper is an impact player. He was also very good the 2 seasons prior but did not get pp time due to Hedman still being the guy.
There is risk to it for obvious reasons but to try and claim he’s not an impact player is just lol.

A large part of Edmontons failures have been the run and gun style they play which has exposed the goaltending. They are stuck with Jarry, they need to try and find some support for him
