Proposal: EDM | BOS

I feel like the value’s probably fair, but the cap doesn’t work for Boston so it’s a total non starter, before you even consider that they’d be unlikely to move Carlo

How is the value fair? Kane and Ceci are cap dumps. Bourgeault is a B prospect.

Carlo would immediately be a #3D on EDM.

For BOS to take Kane and Ceci, EDM would need to send a 1st and 2nd for the cap dump alone plus Bourgeault and retention...and even then BOS wouldn't do it without significant retention.

This is an awful trade proposal.

I could see a Hyman + Ceci for Carlo + (insert some forward) making some sense.

In all honesty though, these two teams aren’t great trading partners.

I can see Jeff Jackson Not being an idiot and accepting that offer.

I would love Carlo on the Oilers but doubt there is a deal to be made unless the Bruins wanted Kane.
