I want the Leafs to win, but I don't know how anyone can seriously expect the Leafs to win this game with their recent playoff history.

Panthers 3-1, but hope I am wrong.

I figure the leafs have about a 16 out of 34 chance to win tonight.

Never mind the score, what are the predictions on PPs per team. I'm predicting 5 PPs for Florida and 2 for the Leafs.

Leaf might get as many as 4 or 5, but only if they are behind 3 goals or so with 10 minutes left and the refs look to make the PPs appear closer.

The over/under on a Florida player laying a headshot on a Leaf is set at 1.5 occurrences tonight.

Agree or disagree?

I think it goes 1 of 3 ways

1) there is only 1 powerplay per team. Panthers get away with absolute murder during the game but the whistles go away until a leaf player retaliates

2) Florida gets multiple powerplays until they can get a lead. Leafs then get powerplays that occur at the end of a period or are cut short by taking their own penalty

3) penalties are called in the first period fairly even and then only to manage the game depending on the score or to kill momentum for Toronto

I am cheering Panthers because of Finnish dude's obligations. Also if I would be betting man, I would bet against Leafs here. I just don't see them getting through.

I don't mind Leafs core 4 to prove us wrong for once though. Even though this would lead to insufferable obnoxious Leafs fans being overly noisy in this forum and in Reddit but it is what it is.

But prime numbers don't evoke the same imagery of the two players that will likely decide this game one way or the other.

I don't know if I'd want him back at the price he'll likely get but poor playoff performer is a little harsh. He's currently 6th in the league in playoff points and set up Matthews with a beautiful little pass last game for the game winner.

You have to watch a team a full season to really appreciate their best (and worst). We've seen both this series from the Leafs.

In the poll when this series began I chose Leafs in 7. I produced my reasoning in the body of a post in this forum. Defense wins championships and the Leafs D may be the best constructed in the league this year as it pertains to dealing with the forecheck.

Put together by design I imagine envisioning a matchup with the dirty Panthers.
