Things clearly were not working when Florida stepped up last game, they got really outplayed and got fortunate Woll shut the door, can't expect that sort of luck two games in a row.

Idk, maybe the way so many Leafers reacted to game 5, they might be over giving any more shits about what the fans might think, and they just go out and play for each other.

Pressure, momentum etc, fans and analysts love to go on about, is a complete non factor once the game starts imo.

It is really unfortunate for Florida to be dragged in to it, for the Leafs we hear that whinining every game regular season and playoffs. It has no meaning.

So the latest narrative push is "If Division Champs beat #3 Florida it's the greatest upset of 2025 Playoffs but, if they lose, definitely NOT a choke-job despite its $50 million Core 4 talent."

It just keeps getting better and better.

There are a lot of narratives that do the rounds but for most Maple Leafs fans and most Panthers fans it has been a hard fought series. The other narratives are generated by the outside noise.

And when I argued that Florida got worse this year, as I’ve been saying since before the season started, I was told I’m an idiot.

And when I pointed at the leafs winning the division and the panthers finishing 3rd, I was told that’s because the panthers are too smart to care about seeding of the regular season and that they were willing to conserve energy and turn the intensity down to a 3 and then flip it to 11 for the playoffs.

It just never ends, whatever the argument is there will be people who just simply hate the maple leafs and need to frame everything in the most dramatic and negative way possible.

No one can be neutral when it comes to the leafs. Either you’re a fan or you’re a hater.

Bring it all on, we just need to boys to win tonight and then who knows what could happen.
