He blocked a shot, cleaned up a very juicy rebound, zone exit & entry, dekes a guy out, and intercepted an outlet pass to keep the puck in Carolinas zone all on one shift that period, then the very next shift he broke up a 2-1 as the last man back. People just love bashing him.

Panarin needs to simplify. Stop the curling back, the canes are counting on it and they’re usually right because he constantly does it. Cut the long passes in the neutral zone too for god sake, just attack the net and his hands and skill will make things happen

He can't seem to get it that there's no more time and space and he's gotta try stupid shit in tight quarters.

Happens to be playing injured.

That’s just not true. I own two jerseys - one Fox, one Zib - so I’m not hating, but Zib is the MVP among non goalies. Fox hasn’t been as good as he was last season for most of this year. Injured or not, he hasn’t been as stellar as his sophomore season. Zib is the only guy consistently pushing the pace, skating in both directions, and making things happen, and being line matched into oblivion at the same time. Fox is more valuable, relative to age, etc. but Mika is better right now.

it does not feel like we'll even have another scoring chance, but there is part of me that thinks our best chance of stealing one there is playing down 1 like this and hopefully getting 1 late and winning in ot or 2 quick ones late. the way they'll pressure and we collapse im not sure we could hold a lead for a lot or all of a 3rd
