“The dog i think is mostly still aware of it but my wife just about jumps out of her skin when i celebrate a goal.”

My cats had their first psychotherapy appointment last week.

Exactly how I feel. I am happy with this season right now, and anything beyond this is just gravy.

This team has already answered every question I had coming out of the bubble debacle, and Laf looks like a legitimate star on the verge of a crazy breakout.

We win, we get these guys even more experience.

We lose, we keep our first rounder and get one step closer to the inevitable farewell to Ryan Strome.

I am happy no matter what happens.
Yep. We proved we are right there with a team that many had/have as a legit stanley cup contender. If this looked like the bubble, the season would have ended with a sour taste in our mouths that we don't belong. We clearly belong.

I thought Carolina was going to win this in 5. I think they thought they were going to win this in 5.

Their body language after Games 3 and 4 looked like they were shocked that they were in a series against a team they thought they were going to steamroll based on the way they played the Rangers in the regular season.

They may also be coming to the realization that their record may be better than what they really are. They started off the year with no trouble scoring and the defense was excellent with otherworldly penalty killing. An 87% PK is unsustainable especially facing the same team multiple times. The offense just doesn't look as formidable as it did earlier. They're still heavy on that forecheck and good on faceoffs though.

If the Rangers manage to get this one tonight, they'll wrap it up at the Garden.

Possible they have Martinook in tonight. Not a guy you like to see from a Rangers perspective. He doesn't do a lot on the score sheet but he is annoying and a menace, probably also gets the team going.

They looked demoralized and frustrated.

If we get on them early, it's over IMO. They will sulk/wilt.

BREAK THEIR WILL

They looked this way after period 2 of game 1 as well.

If NYR let them right back in things they'll live to regret it.

That third line was neutralized last game , no offensive threat. KK needs to go back to that line, GG needs to wake up.

The third line was matched against Staal’s line. They kept the shutdown line away from Zibanejad and played mostly in the offensive zone. They did their job.

I don't want to say this is a do or die game, but the Rangers have a better shot of winning Game 5 than a Game 7 in Carolina.

I agree. It’s a much tougher hill to climb when you are looking to force Game 7 than when you are looking to close out at home against a bad road team. But when has this team ever made it easy for themselves (or us)?
