Understandable. It’s absolutely heartbreaking and I’m so dang tired of seeing it happen I n our country, with unfortunately absolutely nothing changing.

I don't like what the next 10 years in this country is going to look like. There seems to be an ever increasing number of people feeling like they're being backed into a corner watching their rights and safety being quickly stripped away, and historically when this happens, it tends to eventually erupt in a whole lot of not good for everyone else. You never know what the catalyst will be, but nearly 20 elementary school students gunned down in cold blood is only pushing us closer to that ledge.

The thing is that our guys occasionally do lay big hits like that but usually never when they are down. They just play passive and scared once down by more than 2-3 goals. It drives me insane.

Seriously, having lived through the VT shooting in 2007, I can't believe this shit is still happening, and I can't believe they're now targeting elementary schools. 18 kids dead. If you wanted to know why I'm a little on edge tonight, this is why.

Just hard to watch. If I was GM, obviously I wouldn't start making calls right away but I'd be seriously writing a lot of notes on how I could try to fix this.

A skating team with not enough toughness and grit to play playoff hockey.

look at Tampa Calgary Avs oilers. There is extraordinary talent on those teams but they have a lot of size and grit too on 3rd and 4th lines.

We have nice young men that just can’t win with their typical style in playoff hockey.

I also think the team is feeling the expectations of a being a regular season leader and feeling stress overwhelm them

This team is a broken f***ing record. They repeat the same mistakes over and over again and never learn. If they're being coached to improve their play I'm not seeing it. In fact, outside of being a good motivator, I'm really not sure Brind'Amour is that great of a coach. We never out-scheme a team. We rarely run set plays to get shots on goal. Our power play is dogshit and our offensive attack in general is anemic. Our road play, when the opposing coach can determine matchups, is about as poor as it can get.

They’re capable of breaking out at home and snapping the streak in Game 6.
