We get called for a penalty right after a goal?

Its like they're following a f***ing script. Its getting to the point where you have to seriously question what the f*** kind of coaching this team is getting right now when they keep making the exact same mistakes game after game year after year.

Rod is a great motivator, awesome. But at a certain point a coach needs to fix problems and instill good habits and too often all I hear from him and see from him is that his only go-to is switching up the lines and hoping they can work through their problems.

5 goals in 3 and 2/3 games. 2 of which came from f***ing Ian Cole and Brendan Smith and another one a last second ENG.

Houston, we’ve got a problem.
Rod will probably promote someone from the 4th line into the top 6 like he did Necas who was promoted for no reason. Kotkaniemi will be stapled to the 4th line.

And I know, I know... we still technically have home ice and can still advance somehow. But you're absolutely fooling yourself if you think that means anything vs a team like Tampa.

Once again, we're this close to the series effectively being over given tonight's effort and score

I'm wondering what happened to Kotkaniemi. Earlier in the year if he wasn't scoring he was pretty physical and mixing it up.

He's been MIA with a lot of the forwards lately.

Too much time in the sauna /w too many Coors lites?

I think they just don't want him as a winger.

He actually hasn't been any worse than a lot of our forwards. He deserves a chance to earn more ice time. But we'd rather go with guys who clearly aren't getting it done.

Yeah I'm more worried about Aho, Teravainen, Svechnikov, Necas, and Trocheck failing to show up for this series. When the only aspect of your entire Top 6 that isn't playing like complete ass is a 20 year old rookie who wasn't even expected to be on the NHL roster this year, that's a major point of concern for not just this year but the entire future of the franchise. This is supposed to be the time of the year your best players step up, so why the f*** are they all completely MIA at the same time? Its not a coincidence, and its beyond a routine slump. They're just playing bad hockey at the most important time of the year.

I think the pressure is getting to us. We do better when little is expected of us. The “ lovable underdog” is our m.o. We don’t know how to be “the favored”. Also we currently have zero luck. What must we do to appease the hockey gods, because they clearly don’t like us much right now.
