Well some of it is because we don't have many options but there is also coaching...I'd never have JT and Nylander on the same line because one basically floats(Willy) and the other just isn't very effective due to his brain and inability to skate well(always trying to catch opposing players).

So Nylander takes no responsibility for a really lackluster effort so far? He's waving at pucks all over the place. No one mentioned that the series that led to Florida's goal started with another Nylander shy-away from contact in the offensive zone. He's a placeholder out there tonight so far. Of course now that I say that, he'll pot 2 goals but that's how I see it.

But Tavares had an ability to drag down whoever he plays with no matter what. He’s done it with both nylander and Marner. Scoring an ot goal doesn’t change that

He's chasing his man and catching up.

Takes his last stride at the hash marks and then glides back, the guy he's chasing gets a good chance out of it.

There's just no need to stop skating there, and it's infuriating.

Coaching is obviously an issue with us. However, we have a 3rd pairing that are struggling badly and it's not easy when and where to deploy our 2nd line centre because he gets caved in.
