Good for them! I love to see it when players and personnel from other professional teams in the same area get involved in things.
Annoys me that the other three major league teams always seemed to do it for each other but the Coyotes got ignored during our 2012 playoff run. Even though the Coyotes would go to bat regularly for the Cardinals, Diamondbacks, and Suns.

Wes McCauley just sucks. The NHL probably only lets him make the cut for playoff games because he’s occasionally been funny when announcing things over the mic.

It's not just the record, all of those games are horribly called for the opposing side. The games almost always feature our guys being headshot, boarded, concussed without penalties. And then a 5 min major followed up with a suspension for our guy retaliating.
I have genuinely lost all excitement for the game seeing this clowns name pop up

I said it before game 1 of round 1, just no McCauley or Chris Lee (not officiating this year) because games called by him always end up the same way. Out of control dirty hits that go unpunished, numerous "missed calls" that a blind man could see and then retaliation penalties when several dirty hits go uncalled.
Maybe it'll be different since it isn't Keefe behind the bench, but not optimistic.

I've seen McCauley call our games too many times, the same phantom penalties called against, same blatant missed calls on the opposing teams. Too many times for it to be a coincidence. There was just 1 ref I didn't want calling our games, and it's this clown.
I'm hoping now that Keefe is gone it will be different, let's see.

Well ya, are you and other Leafs fans happy with the reffing?
We get the cries of Benny escaping Elbowgate [hint: it wasn't an elbow] but the Rodrigues embellishment was beyond silly and the Domi crosscheck one as well.
I'm not saying they need to kill each other but the refs have been extremely inconsistent and for the record, Florida has been one of the most penalized teams for the last 5 years, whether over the line or not.
Leafs have had 8 PPs in two games, Florida has had 5.
Not sure what the average PIMs per playoff game but it just feels like the league wants more scoring.
