Staal is to blame for being hurt?

I like to blame him for being a *****. Crosby can play after a broken jaw but Staal can't find a way to play even though he was cleared already. Guy does not care about helping the team win.

Probably wants to get over to Carolina. :p:

I think that is game. They don't deserve to win with the way they're playing.

I'm not sure if it is game with the way we came back last game.

BUT, I agree in general. Soft goals or not, take away Hank and we aren't even in Round 2, let alone in a Game 5 in this series. This team needs a bunch of fixes.

Beautiful Hamrlik passes to the Bruins, we got a top notch defenseman there.

I was watching the replay and I could not believe my eyes. Hamrlik passed the puck to them.
That whole play may have just died of confusion without that sweet pass into the middle by Hamrilik.

So how do we find a way to blame this period on Richards?:sarcasm:

Well, if Richards hadn't been playing so crappy, he wouldn't have been scratched from this game. On top of that, if he were playing better to not be scratched, and if he were to be playing at the level we pay him to play at, he would have contributed to scoring chances that lead to goals. This in turn would have us winning the game, rather than losing and having no hope to come back.

Better coach, better system, deeper team winning the game. It's not about the names on the back of the jerseys, it's all about the team with the Bruins. Better team is winning.

LOL. Knocked for any of the goals he allows? Wow. We truly are in bizzarro world tonight, folks. No, that's simply not accurate at all. In fact, it's the complete opposite. He's hardly ever knocked for the goals that he should have stopped.

Let's be reality. No one is "continuously plac[ing] blame on him" at all. That's just ludicrous to even suggest; truly a complete distortion of reality.

Maybe not from you specifically but those posts do exist.

You btw were whining about rebound control after a win last series.

This might be the most idiotic post I've ever read on HF. Nice going.

heh...ban?

You said all playoffs long. It was a stupid comment.

It's not a stupid comment. About half of the goals given up the first two games this series were soft. A similar amount for the first two periods against Washington.

He's clutch when he needs to be, but his poor play is the reason he's forced to play clutch.

In all honesty, I think he's mentally exhausted, and the fact his back isn't up against the wall has allowed him to loosen up a bit, which has let some goals go in. But once his back is up against the wall, he has to start to really focus. But if he'd be focused from the beginning, he wouldn't force himself to be clutch the way he has to be in these situations.

Devils 4th line skated circles around ours last year and Sather failed to address it. Our 4th line is always a mishmash of AHL garbage and retreads.
