I feel what you're going for, but it still is an elimination game. You put out a team that you feel will give you the best chance to win, not a game for young players to gain experience. There's no time for experimenting.

watch Richards goes back to the Bolts and then they wiill lead their division in 2013-2014 season. i hope Richards is gone.. well i was right when i said id rather play Haley or Newbury over Richards and now its happening Asham shouldnt be scratched although at least Kreider will get more ice time...

I can pretty much guarantee that won't happen with realignment...

I like Staal but thinking that he's the answer from the standpoint of a physical presence vs the Bruins forwards is just ridiculous overhyping of his game.

Ridiculous. 4th line minutes, people expect him to produce. 100 points in 128 regular season games. Best player for us in the post season last year.

I get it. He looks terrible. I completely understand that. But a lot of other players *cough* Nash *cough* have gotten a free pass from the fans and coaching staff.

Richards has 1 goal playing 6-7 minutes 5-on-5 a game. Nash has 1 goal playing 15-15 minutes 5-on-5 a game.

This Nash obsession, and persecuting every other forward on the team, has to stop.

This basically confirms Richards will be an amnesty buyout. And Tortorella likely won't make it past this upcoming weekend.

It will be great for the organization to get rid of this guy. I'm hoping the Bruins win, sweep us, and we can move onto a different coach who will take us in a different direction in the future.

Richards is being bought out. No matter how bad he has been Torts would never make the decision to scratch his go to guy in an elimination game down 3-0. Management knows this ship is all but sunk and they are protecting their buyout. The fact Torts had to "call him with the news" this morning makes this more than self-evident. Adios Richards, thanks for making me disgusted with a player I once thought very highly of.

The Asham scratch is mind boggling.
