I don't know why some of you are complaining about this period. As the road team, you have to be thrilled to keep the audience entirely out of it. The Rangers have gotten some chances and haven't given up too many really fantastic scoring opportunities. Yes, Boston had a chance on a few plays, but there weren't any odd man rushes or partial breakaways or anything.

As the road team, you can't be upset with how they're playing, and they're making some really good defensive plays while having a few good scoring chances.

Bruins are not nearly as creative offensively as the Caps so far. First couple games they were creating quality scoring chances out of thin air and had the Rangers chasing. Even period, fine by me.

I pretty much agree with this assessment, but for the comment about having a FEW good scoring chances. They really only had one good one -- the DZ shot that rung off the bar. Other than that, they need to get the forecheck going a little more and punish their D. But all in all, for a road Game 1, I'm good with this period.

SO, terrible place to say it probably but...good luck this series. Have liked the Rangers since Tortorella took over. I also like your team makeup, especially Callahan and Lundqvist. I'm sure I'll hate Torts before the series is over and one or two players, but until then...respect for your team.

Seriously. Nash has an open net, Hamilton hooks him directly on the hands making it so he couldn't get his stick there. Nobody can even mention that or show a replay? That should of easily been a penalty.

Eh, I don't mind if that doesn't get called. But it can't be ric-tac tacky calls coming the the other way. Either call everything or nothing.

So far the refs have been consistent.

I say you can post here, bro?

:sarcasm:

Amazingly, you're practically alone here.
