I agree. This series doesn't see motivation or momentum swing from game to game. It's a clean slate each night with Carolina scoring first every time.

Bruins made lineup changes and won two in a row. Let's see if Carolina does the same going back home.
The games in Carolina will certainly be more difficult for Boston, Staals line will be back as the matchup.

It has a lot of markings of a seven game series at this point.

Except this time Staal's line have to deal with the Bergeron line that has Pastrnak back on it and that has its mojo back as well. Be a tough test for both lines to be sure.

Now to see if the Staal line can handle the top line with Pastrnak on it as they did with DeBrusk on it.
Bergeron is the one setting all of it up... Staal is his personal matchup. Might see a shift of the D pairing backing them to Slavin/Pesce as well.

I'm trying to be as unbiased as possible, but the ice in Boston is also horrid.... It's not conductive to the Canes playstyle in any way..... Those double and triple shifts they stacked on that line will also add up, they have quite literally been everything you have all series.

That's what usually ends the Bruins season if someone can stop that top line with Pastrnak on it. Huge game in Carolina and I'm curious to see if Lindholm AND McAvoy draw back in or not.

I was expecting Carolina to find a third goal but I am so glad Boston finally found that gear that got them past a team that has been their hump this season (for the second consecutive game).

The next game in Raleigh is mouth-watering already such has been the physicality and grudges out there.

This is were NHL injury reports are infuriating lack of detail, If it was McAvoy who tested personly he's out Tuesday period, did they ever announce what Lindholms "upper body" injury was? I can't imagine it was anything other than a concussion (the bounce of his head on the ice) Marty Necas and TT took similar hits from Nashville last season.
Staal and Bergeron both play Selkie caliber defense (Berg is a clear winner in offense)..... Home ice can't he understated in this situation because it also Gets Aho away from bergy.

Mcavoy should be out “5 days from when symptoms presented”. Assuming that was yesterday (hoping?) he could be back for game 6.

Marchand is controlled. He's intentionally trying to get under players' skin, and he's really good at it.

TDA is a meathead with anger issues, which predictably reared the second the team faced adversity in the postseason.

Maybe the older Marchand…but the younger Marchand… well him seeing a psychologist and getting married did wonders.

Have the canes struggled this year when games are tied or their trailing?
