I think the biggest key is patience. It's the 1st or 2nd playoffs for most of our players. We're probably going to come out pumped, maybe too much so. I don't want us to blow our load right away.

We can't come out trying to force passes trying to push for offense too hard and give up odd man rushes.
We can't get frustrated if Shitsterkin makes a few good saves.
We can't over-pass because Shitsterkin gets in our heads and we think we need pretty plays to score on him.
We can't get overly aggressive and take bad penalties, especially in the offensive zone.
We can't let the Rags sucker us into retaliation penalties.
We have to keep constant pressure on the Rags with a heavy forecheck when they're breaking out.
We have to keep our heads when they're forechecking us on OUR breakouts and cough up the puck while our forwards fly the zone.
We have to be willing to pitch the puck off the glass and out if there aren't good options, instead of trying to get too fancy.

To be honest, I think we can easily take this series if we just don't shoot ourselves in the foot.

I'm pretty sure my kid this morning at breakfast could tell I was already stressing about the game tonight. Tampa in 2018 we didn't really have any expectations so I wasn't as nervous in that series, tonight is very different.

Honestly I kinda hate Bill as the PxP. He has a great broadcast voice and I'm sure he's a nice guy, but it seems to me like he just spends the entire broadcast trying to either kiss up to Daneyko or prove how smart he is by bringing up constantly advanced stats.

I wish he would just call the game and stop with the shenanigans.
