It turns out the guy that has sucked all year didn’t magically turn into an effective player in the playoffs.

He was legitimately good during the winning streak, and had a small surge at the end of the season. But he is too inconsistent and unreliable to be put in now.

You want your fourth line to be low-event grinders who can kill penalties. Bastian and Mcleod fit that. Wood... is decidedly not that.

To be THIS bad? If Shesty had robbed them and they outshot the Rangers by 2-1 that’d be one thing but they’re getting housed at home after ‘dominating’ the regular season series

I said after picking them to win in 2021 and they blew that series that I wouldn't pick them to win a series again until they do.

So I foolishly picked them this year, but said if they don't win it in 6 or sooner, they aren't winning it at all. The Lightning will take it in game 7.

My friends won't pick the Leafs either, but at least they didn't go back on that like I did.

Maybe they still win the series? They're in no worse shape than us after tonight.

If they don't, Dubas to Pittsburgh in a few weeks and Keefe to Washington maybe?
