I would never advocate running goalies, but letting them know you can and will crash the net for loose pucks is legit.

The Rangers have created very very little. The goal from elite sniper Ryan Lindgren was such a killer.

Getting shutout would be a much worse case scenario than any goaltending or special team issues.

At least if this was 2-1 or 3-2 you could say 5 on 5 we were good enough and it was all on the PP or not getting an extra save.
