Man, love that Tatar suit.

I am not sure if I am the only one who still has to wear a suit semi-regularly? In any event, as a traditional suit guy here is my take:

Bratt: Looks sharp but not a fan of the wide lapels. Probably bought a new suit for the playoffs. 7/10

Vitek: Looks sharp. Love the vibrant color for the occasion. 8/10

Jack: We can't see the suit very well but my first impression is he is going to a rich homeless guy's funeral. 7/10

Nico: Not a vest guy but he wears it well. It's maybe a bit late in the season for that look but if the fabric is really light it will work well in person. 8/10

Novak: In my view he's wearing the suit equivalent of a name brand Swiss watch with a quartz movement. If a wind kicks up near those lapels he may lift off. He bought that suit on the way to the arena today. 6/10

Mercer: Love the color love the skinny lapels on him. Appropriate suit for a young man on the rise. 10/10

Siegenthaler: Looks a bit like he walked off the set of Kingsman but man he looks sharp and that suit fits perfectly. Note the classic lapels and the jacket was definitely tailored just for him. It's actually a hair tight at the button but it could be a trick of the light based on him walking. Still excellent execution. 9/10

Yeah I barely gave a shit then.

2012 man. Last time I felt this.

So in good karma dept:

1 non devils fan buddy who I went camping with in 2000 on the night they won the cup (watched it the lodge) put $$$ on the Devils to win the Cup at the start of the season. Just texted to tell me.

2. My friend who claims to be a witch asked if I needed a spell. Do I tell her yes?
How do you know she's a witch?

And yes - we need a spell of divine scoring.

Leave skinny lapels in 2009. Looks like something that someone bought off the rack at Express.

I started wearing adult clothes at some point in the early 1990s and my first suits were all really nice fully canvassed Italian from Canali and Barberico and similar labels. At the time, lapels were in the middle range and not as skinny as the early to mid 1980s. The classic suit is classic for a reason. You can alway wear a two button mid lapel two piece suit. Anything else comes and goes. I do find now that I am old and shriveled I prefer a narrow lapel since it is proportional but on balance I think mid lapel never looks bad. Notice nobody is wearing a double breasted suit. My choice would have been a black travel blazer with red contrast stitching on the lapel buttoner hole and working cuffs with buttons that pass for red. A black shirt and red tie and red five pocket silk linen and wool blend pants with black contrast stitching on the coin pocket. Gimmicky yes, but as a pro hockey player I could drop $1500 on an outfit I'll only wear once to the first playoff game.

It's all relative. Sure, a 2.5 is silly but a 4.25 is comical on anyone not 6'4" or taller. My suits these days are 3.25 which may be a bit on the thinner side but not comical. As a whopping 5'10" and 160-165 I can't wear anything too dramatic in terms of cut.

Wait, you’re going to vomit butterflies that are shitting? Impressive.

I’m currently watching guardians/tigers to pass the time🙃
It's chilly AF up in Michigan today. Need to dress for football to go watch baseball. Should have built a retractable roof stadium for the Tigers. Lions have been indoors for as long as I can remember.
