What's really irrelevant is your opinion of what is right and wrong in terms of broadcasting. They do it for money, that's it, the planned block is 3 hours, a hockey game doesn't take 3 hours it takes about 2 hours and 40 mins people will tune in early, not leave the game on after it's over.
