We do have a good roster on paper, we have a better roster than MOST other teams. We just don't have a good one against the Devils. We beat Carolina again straight up. And we give Toronto and Tampa a good fcking run. Not NJD though.

Every time they play good teams what you see tonight is what you get, discombulated, zero sustained pressure, turnovers galore, no scoring chances and their goalies need to play immaculate hockey. They don't give anyone a good run. If their PP goes on a run they might score enough to have a shot. When it goes flaccid they score 2 goals in 3 games.

People assume streakiness means laziness. Sometimes it does, but not in this case.

Effort hasn't ever been the issue. Chris is far more effective playing the way he does rather than if he was running around like Tim Wilson winning 'effort' points.
