Objectively speaking, Tampa Bay has been the better team overall throughout the series and could have won it by now or at least deserve to be up 3-2.

In reality, we are in a very fortunate position to still have 2 cracks at closing out the series. I hope the players realize that and seize the moment.

Playoff Vasilevsky is back so we will need Samsonov to step up and play at his absolute best.

Pretty much word for word how I would have put it...One difference....Not sure Vasilevskiy is back...imo they let him see the puck last game..
They have to get back in front of him. If they can't realize how fortunate they are to be up in the series and go balls-to-the-wall for one or two games they deserve what they get.

I know it’s hard, but we need to be positive. The team needs to hit another level, and they are very close. They are a much deeper team than past years. Lots of reason for optimism, but I understand the pessimism. Remember, it took Tampa some time to go over the hump too, then they became a dynasty. Obv not the same, but every team has its road. I think we all know if the team conquers this they have as good a shot as anyone at the cup.

I think Bunting will surely come in. Holl who knows, I think Keefe will take him out but can also see him being stubborn and giving him another shot.

This is the first game I’ve felt some excitement about in a long time. Feeling good about it.

You didn't feel any excitement at all before game 1? Wow, that's really weird to me, I'm always pumped for the playoffs no matter what. And this season, with this stacked roster which is on paper the best I've ever seen, waiting to see if they can translate that from on paper to on the ice, go deep and maybe even win the cup, I think I was more excited for game 1 then I have been since I was a little kid and was excited about everything.

Hopefully Matthews and Marner were glued in on that Boston-Florida game. We need one(both) of them to just take this series by the balls like Tkachuk has for Florida.

f*** yeah! Can you imagine the feeling if we win and Marner gets a goal and 4 assists? Or Matthews scores a hatty? I mean obviously be thrilled if we win no matter how it happens but something along those lines would be extra special. Lord knows they've had enough chances to shine in the spotlight and so far they've failed, time to seize the day motherf***ers!

I sure hope so too. You only get so many chances to win during your career and for every single player, this will be one of the biggest games they ever play.

Wow. Some people have PTSD really bad. What can I say, hopefully we win, you'll be sorry you missed it but happy as hell obviously to be back for round 2.
